St Matt’s labyrinth arrives!

St Matt’s labyrinth arrives!

Our own temporary Labyrinth is now in situ undercover at the base of the front stairs to the church.

Christian Labyrinths have been in use in Churches since the 3rd/4th Century. They have also been used by worshippers for daily prayer and as a “walking meditation” to centre and prepare themselves before they entered into worship (and then after worship before re-entering the day-to-day world.)

Our labyrinth is a temporary chalk one that is open to all faiths and none, who wish to walk it. It takes only 10 to 15 minutes for a circuit at the most. 😇

Perhaps you could “give it a go” to see if God is inviting you to take a break, slow down and spend some time just walking with Him … why not make a regular walk a part of your Lenten practices?

We also have a short Lenten Labyrinth reflection to provide you with some thoughts to ponder as you join Jesus on your very own Lenten Emmaus walk with Him.

Let Randal know if you would wish to receive this resource or join in a facilitated labyrinth walk to discover more. Contact details:randaldennings@gmail.comor 0408878711.
