Labyrinth Walk

Labyrinth Walk
Commences at 11am
Sunday 3 March

Most Christians use the labyrinth as a “spiritual tool”. Many find it a “safe and sacred space” to quieten the mind, open the heart and deepen their walk with Christ. We just need to walk it with Christ as He calls us to walk – perhaps too our hearts will burn as theirs did on the road to Emmaus? A labyrinth has only one path. It slows us down amidst the hectic busyness of our lives … and helps us become centred – our true self – the one God calls us to be.

TRANSFIGURATION AND THIN PLACES

And while He was praying, His face began to shine, and his clothes became dazzling white and blazed with light….a bright cloud formed above them; and terror gripped them as it covered them. And a voice from the cloud said ,”This is my Son ,my Chosen One; listen to Him.” Luke 9 : 29.34 -36 ( Living Bible )

The disciples suddenly and unexpectedly found themselves in a “thin place”: a place where heaven and earth touch . There they a had a fuller experience of the Divine – Father, Son and Holy Spirit … and there Jesus was revealed to be so much more than they had known.

Join us on a Transfiguration themed Labyrinth walk.
